Farmstead Expands it Coverage to Double the Delivery Radius of Bay Area
Online grocer Farmstead comes up with expansion plans on its delivery area and added same-day delivery from east Oakland to Walnut Creek and southwards while down to Pleasanton and Livermore, and also extends its San Jose coverage further to South San Jose and Los Gatos.
The latest expansion by Farmstead will double its delivery area while prior to this it served just San Francisco. Farmstead has provided the updated delivery map that shows it has now delivery to 19 of new cities and towns and 32 of new zip codes.
Farmstead’s expanded microhub space in Burlingame basically helped in its delivery expansion. The new coverage area is about six time bigger than its previous microhub in San Francisco. It will enables the company to get more tens of thousands households per week who reside in the Bay Area .
CEO and co-founder of Farmstead, Pradeep Elankumaran said, “Farmstead’s mission is to make fresh, high-quality food accessible to everyone. We’ve had thousands of requests from potential customers in the broader Bay Area, both before and during the pandemic.”
“Until now, neighborhoods east of the Diablo mountain range have lacked an online grocer that offers both local and national brands, at better prices than local supermarkets, with free delivery and a subscription option. We’re thrilled to bring Farmstead to over half a million more Bay Area households.”
