Who was Climate Protestor: Wynn Bruce?
Born in 1971, Wynn Alan Bruce, the photojournalist resided in Boulder, Colorado in 2000. In his teenage days, he suffered from a traumatic brain injury. He founded Bright and True Photography after studying the same subject at the Metropolitan State University of Denver. Not to forget to mention his membership at the Boulder Shambhala Center where he used to promote the saying ‘build an enlightened society. With this, you must understand that Wynn had practised Buddhism and used to share quotes from Gautam Buddha and Chogyam Trungpa.

Surprisingly, Wynn Bruce had hinted at this self-immolation incident back in 2021, appearing to be pre-planned. Condolences to his family have showered on social media. People started commenting ‘But now someone who cared about the climate crisis is gone and climate collapse continues with one’s less person to fight against the 1% destroying our planet.‘ In brief, most people stated that Wynn didn’t commit suicide. It was rather ‘a deeply fearless act of compassion to bring attention to the climate crisis. The incident took place around 6:30 p.m and later he was admitted to the hospital. On the very next day, he was announced to be dead. On 24 April 2022, the Metropolitan police department started investigating but failed to find or understand his motives for doing such an act.
