These plates have rough edges which keep moving and sliding over each other. When the force overcomes the friction, seismic waves are released and shake the world resulting in earthquakes.

It is measured with the help of a richer scale. A magnitude of 3 or lower detects weak earthquakes. But, those with a magnitude of 7 or more are severe earthquakes which can destroy everything. The cities which are highly prone to this natural disaster are- Kathmandu, Delhi, Manila, Mexico, Jakarta, etc.

Usually, it forms where the ocean water has a temperature of more than 80°F and winds flow with an upward force in the same direction. The fourth deadliest natural disaster is Lightning. It’s a naturally formed electricity that flows in the air like a flash. In general, it has a temperature, of up to 54000°F. When estimated, it appears to be six times hotter than the surface of the Sun. It sparks mostly in the areas where there is a variation in temperature and pressure and also the environment is unstable.
