We coined rainfall as a boon of nature. In contrast, it is one of the major components of the life- cycle. Rainwater is also known as precipitation and is a phenomenon of water’s evaporation. It is a natural process of weather rotation. At the same time, the rainwater cycle revolves around in a persistent order, including the evaporation of water vapors from the ocean to the sky. These evaporated vapors consist of moist air and fill the nebulous clouds with cool air. Apart from this, the droplets of rainwater are a touch of nature on the earth’s crust. Even in the 21st century, many regions of the world depend on rainfall to harvest crops.

In comparison, it is the prime source of renewable water. But on the flip side, what about those regions where the rain droplets are like once in a blue moon. So, let’s glance over the places around the world that witness the least rainfall.

5. UAE

The droplets of rainwater are the significant water source on the earth’s surface. The UAE, called the United Arab Emirates, is one of the largest oil and gas exports and also holds the title of seventh largest oil reserve across the globe. On the flip side, the rainfall is less than 120mm a year due to the hot climate, whereas the average rainfall goes up to 78 mm a year. The UAE has dry and hot weather with an average temperature of 45 degrees which is the reason behind the least rainfall.

Another oil exporter country with the least rainfall pattern. The country receives rainfall up to 78mm alongside the weather, including intense humidity and hot summers. The temperature of the country goes up to 40 degrees. Despite this, you can encounter dry and dusty storms throughout the year.

3. Saudi Arabia

You might be curious why all the oil countries queue with the least rainfall then. It won’t be difficult to get the answer because the country that retains humid temperatures and is coiled with deserts would be the reason behind less rainfall. Apart from this, the country encounters 58mm of rainfall, whereas it is the only country that receives 300mm of rainwater in the monsoon only. Meanwhile, the scorching weather with a temperature of 54 degrees would also make the country hottest.

A country entitled with the least rainfall across the globe. Libya is a county in North America that receives an average rainfall of 55mm. Most interestingly, sometimes the country doesn’t witness the rain throughout the year. Whereas the country’s weather has been extremely hot and dry for decades.

While heading to the place which witnessed the lowest rainfall called Egypt. A country with an average rainfall of 50 mm. The county is coiled with the world’s largest Sahara Desert desert. Meanwhile, the country doesn’t even retain drinking water. The scorching weather and hottest desert would entitle this country to the world’s lowest rainfall country.
